Con 680 kilómetros será la primera de tres etapas con más de 600 kilómetros de recorrido. El tiempo estimado es de diez horas y media. Cruzaré los pirineos por Roncesvalles disfrutando desde la salida hasta llegar a San Juan Pie de Puerto, parada y disfrute.
Continuaré por el interior por Dax donde iniciaré el acercamiento a la costa que conseguiré en Mimizan. Desde aquí no abandonaré la costa.
Cruzaré el Parque Natural Regional de las «Landes Gascognes» para rodear Burdeos y bordear el estuario de los ríos Garona y Dordoña. «Saltaré» a la isla de Oléron, que recorreré hasta su extremo. De vuelta y costeando el estrecho de Antioche llegaré a mi destino, La Rochelle. Por la zona buscaré un cobijo (es posible que termine en la isla de Ré)
La salida será al amanecer y espero llegar antes del anochecer.
